Here's a Fruits Basket fan art for all of you FB fans out there who watch me! Of course, it's of the ever-special Mabudatchi Trio (Ayame, Shigure, & Hatori) being... well, them. This is kind of a special preview for you all, since I'm planning on sending this piece of fan art to Tokyopop. I hope they'll print it in a future Fruits Basket volume, but I'm sure they get about a million pieces of fan art a day... Well, I can dream. Anyway, if it does get printed, it'll be in black and white, so here's the color version for you all!

I'm sure anyone who watches the series will understand the jokes... well, as much as possible, anyway. My sis *agent-indigo and I talked about this idea while we were working on our latest four-panel doujinshi, I think. Anyhoo, the big joke is that Hatori is the dragon from the Chinese Zodiac. And Shigure and Ayame like to be... err... SPECIAL when they're together. So this is kind of the perfect combo of all those ideas. And no, I have no idea how they got Hatori in that very Godzilla-like dragon outfit.

oh that is great! I got the joke right away before even reading your comments! I could picture them doing something like that, but Shigure would have to be rather sneaky in getting the dragon costume on Hatori lol!

I hope to see this in a future volume of FB, in fact if i do i will let you know ASAP since i get them almost as soon as they come out lol!

Lol, thanks so much! :D Yes, I shall be sure to keep you all posted. And, yes, I too want human plushies of them... *sighs* Currently all I have is my Shigure doggie plushie, and as much as I love it, I want them in their human forms... :heart: That'd just be too cute!
