This was such a bad idea. *laughs nervously* But I hope everyone likes it anyway. I know it's been so long since I've posted anything, so please enjoy, for what it's worth.
Here's the explanation: I thought it would be an interesting idea to figure out what Lord of the Rings characters would be like in modern-day high school. So I used some parallels from the real world. Example: All the warriors are athletes. See the equivalent? However, I forgot that some people really hate jocks and cheerleaders and such... I hope you won't flame me, because the idea wasn't to be negative about the characters or anything. I love all the characters. ^__^ Honest. This wasn't supposed to be a statement on stereotypes.
Here's the quick rundown. I made Frodo a sort of goth/techie/geek outcast type (modern day intellectual, in a way). Sam's sort of a follower nerd. (Note the glasses.) Merry and Pip are troublemakers, spraypaint cans and all. Legolas is sort of the girly playboy. (I love Legolas! Really! *cries* I'm really not showing it though...) Arwen's a cheerleader (since she was more moral support in the story) and Aragorn's captain of the basketball team. I think Eomer and Boromir are supposed to play football. Or something. And Faramir and Eowyn are tennis players. (Because I love tennis and I think they'd look cute playing mixed doubles!)
PLEASE don't hurt me for this. >_< It's nothing more than a silly idea I thought might entertain you all. And at least I finally drew Faramir and Boromir and Eomer and Eowyn... I've never done them before. Oh, and one more thing.. My sis has claimed Goth Frodo for herself. Lol.
Lord of the Rings is copyrighted to Tolkien. I own the spraypaint cans. Just because.
I realy love it
