Hey there, everyone! I've been lurking around DA for the past two months, trying to keep up with messages as best as I can (and usually failing, at least lately -_-). So today I realized I haven't actually updated in... um... forever. People who visit my page must think I'm dead. O___o

So, this journal is to fix that problem, and also to make a couple of minor annoucements! ^___^ Read on for a quick update on my DA status...

ANNOUNCEMENT #1:

Thank you SO MUCH to all the people who have been commenting on my pieces and adding them to your favorites! I'm afraid there were too many to keep up with in the last two months, however. So I just wanted to say thank you to you all, and I'm sorry I can't reply to all the comments! I WILL try to visit the pages of my new watchers asap, but if that also gets delayed, I hope you'll forgive me.

ANNOUNCEMENT #2:

College is going well. ^_^ I'm doing good in all my classes. However, it's a little busier than I thought, so I may have a problem keeping up here at DA. If there are any unannounced hiatuses on my part, rest assured I'm a-okay and will return asap. Which brings me to my final annoucment...

ANNOUNCEMENT #3:

Unfortunately, I'm going to have to change my DA policy a little bit in the coming months. This may or may not be a permanent change, but I've been doing a lot of thinking and decided that this needs to be done, so hopefully everyone will forgive me...

First off, I have a small pile of request pieces that people are still waiting on (I believe 3 birthday pictures, a piece for dragonslayer126, and a Prince of Tennis request pic?). Those are still a go! They might take awhile to get completed, but I will do them. Really, I promise! However, from here on out, I can no longer do any art trades or requests. One is because of time restraints, and the other is because I decided that I really need to change the way I do things here @ DA.

It's just that I realized I don't draw nearly enough pictures for everyone to enjoy. Most of my DA posts up to this point are art trades for others. So I'm going to try to switch my gallery's focus for now. Also, as many people have observed, I don't post nearly enough. Again, in trying to change this, I'm going to avoid creating huge DA to-do lists from now on and focus on keeping the artwork coming. I also removed the kiriban annoucement, because once I reach 10,000 hits, I'd like to do a general thank-you picture to all of you instead, in honor of the two years and counting that I've spent @ DA.

Hopefully these changes aren't too big a deal, especially because for the most part they've already been in place, just not officially. Also, I may or may not be able to comment too much on artwork for about two months or so, mainly because of papers and tests due in my classes. So even if I don't comment, rest assured I'm watching, and that I love looking at everyone's beautiful artwork! See you all around DA! ^___^
